Pakistan cricket team, which have already lost the three-match test series to hosts Australia, have reached Sydney from Melbourne to play the third and final test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The team will have practice sessions on January 1 and January 2, 2024 before the start of the third test on January 3.
Australia had defeated Pakistan by 79 runs on the fourth day of the second Test match that concluded at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday.
Chasing a target of 317 runs to win, the visitors, who were looking for their first test win in Australia after 1995, were bowled out for 237 runs with Aussies captain Pat Cummins taking another five wickets, thus taking the total number of wickets he took in the match to 10, and hence earning his team a nail-biting 79-run win. Australia are now 2 up in the series.
