Better late than never, Education Authority Lahore has allowed 8,000 private schools of Lahore to undertake extra-curricular activities without seeking permission from Authority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Two weeks ago, Education Authority had asked private schools that without permission of the Authority they will not undertake any extra-curricular activity.
The district education authority has revoked its notification under which schools were barred from holding extra-curricular activities without prior permission. Now private educational institutions have no need to seek prior permission of Authority.
