The accomplished British Asian Trust, an organization focused on combating violence and founded by King Charles III, has terminated its association with renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan after his latest violent action with one of his employees.
According to the local news, a representative from the British Asian Trust shed light on the decision to terminate its affiliation with the singer and thoroughly examine the video footage. The spokesperson for the Trust stated, "The British Asian Trust has a strict policy towards abusive behavior and has ceased any association with Mr Khan. We strongly condemn any form of violence whatever the circumstances.”
In case the readers are not aware, previously Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had been spotted in a viral video featuring the man indulging in supreme brutal action of physically assaulting him for a minor reason of misplacing a water bottle.
After a brief period of facing public outrage, Rahat offered a ‘weak’ justification and apology for the cruelty however, Netizens were not ready to believe on the ‘rapid’ apology expressed by the singer, protesting with the phrase: “We are not mad.”
Rahat asserted in the video: “It was the matter between ‘mentor and his pupil. When some student performs well we appreciate and on his bad, we treat him with punishment, it is something like that. However, I have apologized to my child right after the incident and realization of my mistake you can ask him directly.”
On the other hand, the employee who absorbed the violence said: “He is like a mentor to me he beat me because I forgot about the water bottle which was quite important to him as it was filled with ‘blessed water.’ He loves us so much someone has captured the video to damage his reputation. There was no such case he considers us own ‘child.’
