Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad on Friday to discuss matters of economic and security cooperation between the two countries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, PM Shehbaz extended heartfelt greetings on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, conveying his best wishes to Chinese leadership, the people of China, and all Chinese citizens residing in Pakistan.
"I hope this new year will further strengthen the bond of friendship between Pakistan and China and bring prosperity to our nations," the Prime Minister remarked in the meeting.
In response, Ambassador Jiang Zaidong thanked PM Shehbaz and the people of Pakistan for their warm wishes, emphasising the enduring strategic partnership between the two countries.
The meeting underscored Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with China in economic and security domains.
