PTI chief Barrister Gohar has urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan to direct the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to issue the notice of the remaining 41 PTI MNAs who have submitted their affidavits, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media in Islamabad after attending the National Assembly session, the PTI leader demanded that the Election Commission issue notices of the remaining members of the National Assembly.

He was surprised why action was being taken against their MNAs even though they had submitted their affidavits. He hoped that SC would get its order implemented. He said that PTI MNAs are not resorting to protests and sit-ins and wanted to play their democratic role in the parliament.

He said that during the session of the parliament, the government flouted the rules and passed a bill in an illegal way. He said in today’s NA meeting, PTI members participated as parliamentary party members. He said that PTI has obtained 50pc of the total votes.
