The Royal Bengali Tigress which escaped after breaking its cage late at night during shifting has been rescued by Wildlife Department Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The tigress was rescued from a mango grove after being sedated with a tranquilizer gun in the limitation of Alpa Police Station by the team of Wildlife.
The rescue operation was led by Deputy Director Wildlife Multan Sheikh Zahid.
During the rescue operation, the wildlife department staff and the illegal movers, Nadeem and Aamir were injured who have been shifted to Nishtar Hospital.
The tigress has been temporarily housed in the DHA Zoo.
The staff of DHA Veterinary Hospital also participated in the rescue operation.
The age of Royal Bengal tigress is about two years and its value is Rs5 to Rs6 million.
