Women , children among 40 injured in Hyderabad blast

Dozens of people sustained injuries in a cylinder blast in the Hyderabad district of Sindh province, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

According to the local authorities, 40 people– including women and children – were injured in the explosion that occurred in Preetabad.

Rescuers rushed to the spot and launched a relief operation. The explosion inflicted big damage upon nearby buildings and vehicles.

Police said eight of the injured are in critical condition. The lawmen have launched an investigation to ascertain the reason for the blast.
