One wonders if PTI Chairman Imran Khan is ignorant of the decision of the Islamabad High Court today (Monday) or he is misguiding public during his address in Kamoke, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his address to the participants of long march in Kamoke, Imran again tried to fool the public by claiming that the Islamabad High Court voided his disqualification.
But on the contrary, the high court in its order today barred the Election Commission of Pakistan from holding by-election on NA 95 Mianwali seat – the seat which was won by Imran Khan and fell vacant following PTI chief’s disqualification by the ECP in the Toshakhana reference.
During today’s hearing on Imran’s petition in the IHC, PTI lawyer Barrister Ali Zafar pleaded with the court to suspend the ECP’s order of PTI chief’s disqualification.
But IHC Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that the court was not suspending the ECP decision, it could only order the electoral body to not hold the by-election on Mianwali seat.
