Bollywood actor and producer Akshay Kumar (real name: Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia) has also contracted the disease of the moment, coronavirus.

The 53-year old Indian actor who is widely acknowledged for his comic roles is to star opposite Jacqueline Fernandez in ‘Ram Setu’.

Akshay recently told his fans on social media that he has been tested positive for Covid-19:

He mentions in his Instagram post that he is now in isolation and has also consulted medical assistance.

He further urges all those who have been in recent contact with him to get their tests done as well. However, the courageous and witty actor takes the situation head on when he says: ‘Back in action very soon’.

Akshay Kumar started his career in 1991 with ‘Saugandh’. He became widely acknowledged a year later with the action thriller ‘Khiladi’.
