BYC people attack pilgrims' bus returning from Iran in Balochistan, FC secures victims

Annoyed members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), following the failure of a protest in Balochistan, attacked a bus carrying pilgrims returning from Iran, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel report, a group of committee members threw stones at the pilgrims' bus, but the security forces swiftly cleared the route and saved them.
The channel reported that the security forces also ensured the safe arrival of the pilgrims at their destination.
The Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) provided the pilgrims with lodging, food, and medical facilities.
Additionally, 11 more buses were safely dispatched by the Pakistan Army.
The pilgrims and religious leaders expressed their gratitude for the arrangements made by the Pakistan Army and FC.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) is a human rights advocacy group established to advocate for the rights of the Baloch nation in response to alleged state oppression in Balochistan.
The committee is founded in 2020 as the Bramsh Solidarity Committee, it was named after Bramsh Baloch, a young girl who was injured during a violent incident in Turbat that resulted in the death of her mother Malik Naaz Baloch.
Led by Mahrang Baloch, the BYC focuses on human rights abuses in Balochistan, such as enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings, often facing crackdowns from Pakistani authorities.
