Islamabad police have arrested a foreign national accused of shooting and injuring his female colleague during a stay in a guesthouse in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the details, yesterday, the incident took place in the guesthouse located in the G-13 area of Islamabad, where a heated argument between the two foreigners escalated, leading to the suspect opening fire and seriously injuring the victim with a headshot. 

The injured individual was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, while the accused, a foreign national, escaped from the crime scene.

Today, the accused was apprehended in Bahria Town, Phase Seven. 

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Sambal police station arrived at the scene to review the crime scene. 

According to the police, both foreign nationals were staying at the same guesthouse in G-13. 

The police said the suspect initially fled the scene but was later captured by the authorities.
