Coming down hard on former premier Nawaz Sharif for contesting the general election to become prime minister for the fourth time even after failure to deliver in previous terms, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned against stealing his mandate.
“We will snatch the results from the election commission if my mandate is stolen, “ he said in his address to an election rally in Mirpurkhas on Saturday.
He added: “Jayala is not mummy daddy… Jiyala can fight the dictatorship. The dictatorships of Zia and Musharraf had been fought off.
“If the power-hungry becomes the prime minister for the fourth time, the economy will be destroyed. He is not a lion. He is a cat. We will tackle him. KP and South Punjab have run out of his hands.
"The whole family is roaming across Lahore only,”
“He’s afraid of the people and is seeking rigging, similar to what was done for Imran Khan."

The PPP chairman stressed: “The PML-N has not organised a single rally in Sindh showing its lack of substantial work in the province during its rule.
"Nawaz Sharif wants to receive the Form-45s and Form-47s to Raiwind before time to rig the polls. He wants that he can decide the results of Mirpurkhas while sitting in Raiwind.
“He is conspiring about how to grab Mirpurkhas’s vote.”
He said other political parties are busy taking personal revenge instead of engaging in politics.
“If we are doing politics then it is because we want to serve you. If we are competing then it is against poverty, unemployment and inflation instead of any other party.”
