The federal government Thursday established its own sub-jail in the federal capital in wake of the current law and order situation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Earlier, the culprits were being sent to Adiala jail in Rawalpindi which falls under the jurisdiction of the Punjab government and the protesting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the major player in the coalition government in the province.

According to details, Chief Commissioner Islamabad has established a sub-jail in Islamabad and a notification has been issued in this regard.

According to the notification, CIA Building Industrial has been declared as a sub-jail and troublemakers will be sent to this sub-jail.

The security of the building and the prisoners has been handed over to the IG Police.

According to the notification, the record of the prisoners will be with Grade 17 police officers
