Consultation meeting of coalition parties of govt starts

After the Supreme Court's decision to hold Punjab elections on May 14, a consultation meeting of the coalition partners of the government has been started in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a political consultation meeting in which the heads of the coalition parties participated.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah, Azam Nazir Tarar, Sherry Rehman, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar, Aslam Bhutani and other leaders of the coalition parties joined the meeting while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif participated in the meeting through a video link from London.
Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar briefed the meeting about the Supreme Court's decision on the Punjab polls case.
According to the sources, the political situation of the country was considered and important decisions have been taken by the coalition partners of the government.
