Former Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar has been found guilty of extravagant spending during his tenure, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Monday.

According to sources, Khokhar's actions inflicted significant financial losses on the federation, all while the national team had failed to secure any major titles since 2015, the year he assumed office.

During his time as president, Khokhar allegedly misused Rs 3.1 million from the PHF for his foreign trips.

Even before his resignation, he managed to clear bills worth Rs 2 million. Additionally, aside from substantial allowances, he reportedly distributed millions in tickets and other perks to his close associates and relatives.

Over the span of four years, Khokhar embarked on seven foreign trips, including visits to Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Switzerland.

Notably, he took his family along on a trip to Malaysia and also included his brother Asif Khokhar and former director admin Javed Manj, all at the expense of the federation.

In his final months in office, Khokhar prioritized accommodating his family and friends on international tours, even sidelining experts during crucial events such as the Johar Cup and the Junior World Cup.
