Gold prices climb in Pakistan and global markets

The price of per-tola 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,100 and was sold at Rs244,000 on Friday against its sale at Rs242,200 on last trading day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also experienced an upward trend, rising by Rs944 to reach Rs209,534. This follows a previous increase on Thursday, when the per tola price rose by Rs857.

The international gold market also showed gains on Friday as the global rate stood at $2,364 per ounce, marking a $9 increase during the trading day.

In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained stable at Rs2,850 per tola, showing no change from the previous rates.
