Speeding police van crushed to kill an eight-year-old child in Lahore

An eight-year-old boy died after being hit by a police van in a private housing society on Canal Road near Jallo Park Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to report, the relatives said that the child was playing in the street with his friends while the speeding car could not control the speed and crushed the child.

They said that it is a residential area and it is not acceptable to make it an official road.

They further demanded legal action against the responsible of incident.  

They further said that the police administration should approve it as an official road or issue restraining orders otherwise they will continue protest.

By blocking the roads, big numbers of the protestants are protesting against police which is trying to negotiate with them.
