Sindh Caretaker Home Minister Brigadier (r) Haris Nawaz has requested the provincial government to allot him a luxury bulletproof car, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The minister demanded that he be given JS 192, presently being used by Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, which had been purchased for him when he was the adviser to the then Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah on law and anti-corruption. Sohail Anwar Siyal who was the interior minister in the cabinet of Syed Murad Ali Shah also used the same car.   

The same car was also used by former Sindh chief secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah.

The minister had initially asked the secretary home to hand him over the car, who gave him SPE 352.
