Policeman shot dead in Karachi

A police official of the special branch was gunned down by unidentified men in Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi on Wednesday. Rehman Bangash was returning home after performing his duty near Pehlwan Goth, when armed men shot at him and fled away. The injured policeman was shifted to nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Three die in accident

Three people died when a trailer rammed into a tomato-laden van in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area.

The deceased were identified as Yaseen, Bilawal and Ahad. They belonged to Thatta district.
