Pakistan cricket team head coach Gary Kirsten and assistant coach Azhar Mehmood are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Monday for important meetings, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Saturday.

This follows the announcement that Red Ball head coach Jason Gillespie will be arriving a day earlier, on Sunday.

These visits come at the behest of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who has called for a comprehensive consultation with the coaching staff following Pakistan's disappointing performance in the recent World Cup.

The purpose of these consultations is to analyse the team's failures and develop strategies to improve future performances.

The chairman is also seeking insights from former cricketers as part of a broader effort to revitalise the team's approach and tactics.

The PCB aims to leverage the expertise of both current and former professionals to bring a fresh perspective and drive positive change in the national team’s performance.
