Former information minister and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Information Secretary Firdous Ashiq Awan flayed the Israeli minister over nuclear strike remarks.

“The Israeli minister's statement is a clear threat to Muslim countries,” she said.

She added: "Such a statement is an example of Israeli’s cruel mindset, which is highly condemnable.

"Israel has proved itself to be the enemy of humanity. The World War II wounds have not been healed so far."

She questioned if the international community could afford such adventures anymore.

“The peace and tranquillity of the world cannot be put at stake for the sake of Israeli entertainment.”

Firdous Ashiq Awan expressed her resentment over the United Nations’ failure to play its due part.

She raised the demand for joint efforts to save innocents from the war.
