Sindh minister hands cheque to senior artiste Saleem Shah

Taking notice of reports of poor financial condition of popular artiste Saleem Shah doing rounds on media as well as social media, Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah on Sunday handed a cheque to the actor, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The minister also announced a monthly stipend for Saleem.

Speaking on the occasion, the artiste said he was thankful to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the minister for their financial assistance.

Describing Saleem as the country’s asset, the minister said it was the government of Sindh’s duty to help senior artistes like him.
