Journalist community from various parts of the country has welcomed the restorations of 24NewsHD TV channel licence restoration from the Lahore High Court.

Sweets were distributed in certain parts of Khanewal city while the journalist community in Larkana has also expressed their happiness on the TV channel restoration while Sukkur Press Club arranged a formal celebration to mark this event.

Journalists chanted slogans in favour of media freedom and freedom of the speech and in favour of 24NewsHD.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Ahsan Iqbal has welcomed the restoration of the 24NewsHD TV channel. He said truth is always stood victorious. He was talking to media person outside the National Assembly in Islamabad. Pakistan People’s Party leader Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmed has also welcomed the restoration of 24NewsHD.

While President Lahore Chambers of Commerce (LCCI) Irfan Iqbal Sheikh has also welcomed the channel’s restoration. “Media has played its role amid pandemic too. We want media freedom to highlight issues,” he added.
