A member of the KMC staff is taking the nocturnal bird out of the building.

A meeting of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) called on Wednesday for the oath-taking of the newly-elected members was disrupted by an “uninvited guest”, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The swearing-in ceremony of members elected on reserved seats was about to start when an owl flew in suddenly. The nocturnal bird found itself in a tizzy in daylight, tried to flutter its way out but could not find the way out of the council hall.

The owl in its repeated attempts to escape collided with a ceiling fan, got itself injured and fell on the floor.

Later, the administration staff took it out of the KMC building.
