The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has completely ignored the taxpayers awaiting refunds as billions of rupees are still to be returned to thousands of employees and those associated with non-export industry, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

This is despite the fact that the FBR is legally bound to refund the amounts within 90 days.

Talking to 24News TV channel, a taxpayer has complained that he and many others have been waiting for the return of their money for a long time now.

He has appealed to the senior bureau officials to take notice of their predicament and ensure the refund of their amounts.
