21 years gone, NAB could not present inquiry rules in SHC

The Sindh High Court on Tuesday expressed anger over the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) inability to frame the investigation and inquiry rules and present them before the court even after the passage of 21 years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court took the NAB prosecutor to task for not presenting the inquiry rules again on Tuesday.
The court observed the NAB had sought more time on the last hearing too but nothing present today. The court warned that if the rules were not presented then it will summon the NAB director-general.
Advocate Tariq Mansoor remarked that 21 years have passed but nothing happened. The petitioner was of the view that the NAB is performing its day-to-day affairs without any rules. He pleaded to the court to order NAB to frame the rules as soon as possible.
