Police in Gujranwala have solved the mystery surrounding the murder of the owner of a beauty parlour as it was the co-wife of the deceased who had masterminded the murder, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

People’s Colony Police have arrested Farzana, the suspect, along with her brother and another accomplice.  

Police have said that Farzana had given Rs24,000 to her brother to purchase a pistol for the purpose.

Elaborating further, the Force said that Farzana’s husband had contracted a third marriage with the deceased which did not go down well with her.

Police said they had also recovered from the suspects the pistol as well as the cellphone of the victim.

They informed that those arrested had been sent to jail on judicial remand after interrogation.
