IHC to hear contempt of court case in Justice Tariq Jahangiri’s case today

Taking notice of the campaign launched against the Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, the IHC said on Monday it would start contempt of court proceedings against those involved in the judge’s character assassination today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A seven-member bench, headed by IHC Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aamer Farooq, will hear the case.

All high court judges will be on the bench, barring Justice Jahangiri.

Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, Justice Arbad Muhammad Tahir and Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz are also included in the bench.
