Rallies held across Azad Kashmir to mark Burhan Wani’s martyrdom anniversary

A number of rallies in connection with 8th martyrdom anniversary of popular Occupied Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Muzaffar Wani was held at across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and in Islamabad on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The rally taken out at Constitution Avenue in Islamabad was organized by All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Kashmir Liberation Cell. The event was attended by Hurriyat leaders AJK Chapter, Kashmiris living in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and people including women from different walks of life.

During rallies across the AJK, the participants were holding banners and placards in their hands inscribed with slogans against Indian government's illegal occupation of Kashmir and in favour of Kashmiris freedom movement.

They paid glowing tributes to popular Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani, who was an icon and hero of freedom movement and will always be remembered as a symbol of resistance and resilience.

They strongly condemned the atrocities and massive human rights violations being committed by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The participants of the rallies reaffirmed pledge to continue Burhan Muzaffar Wani's mission until the liberation of occupied Kashmir from Indian illegal occupation.

They also urged the international community particularly the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir dispute and grant Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people.
