As the world marks the Women’s Day, the victimization of women in occupied Kashmir continues unabated while thousand of them continue to face the psychological trauma of decades-long Indian brutalities.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service on Sunday said that thousands of women are among the 95,507 Kashmiris martyred by Indian forces since 1989.

Over 11,000 women were raped, hundreds widowed while thousands lost their mostly male family members in custodial disappearances.

The report revealed that thousands of schoolgoing girls have been wounded, many of them blinded, by the pellets fired by Indian troops.
