There was an early Eid Mubarak for the investors at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday as the share prices index sped past the all-time high of 70,000 mark, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The bull-run is aggressive and there was no sign of any easing anytime soon.

There was all-out buying as the session started on Tuesday with share prices surging by 694 or 0.99 percent taking the benchmark KSE-100 index to the historic high of 70314 at the close of the business before Eid holidays.

On Monday, shares at the Pakistan Stock Exchange had traded in the green, gaining more than 1,200 points and crossing the 69,000 barrier.

Analysts had attributed the gains to “aggressive buying” in the pharmaceuticals, and exploration and production stocks.
