Ex-police officer, two nephews shot dead in Lakki Marwat

Three people, including two children, were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire at the car they were travelling in on the Indus Highway in Lakki Marwat at a short distance from the Wild Life Department, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The dead were identified as former MTO, Lakki Marwat Police Saadullah Khan Titarkhel and his two kids.  

Sources in the police told 24News TV channel that Saad was going to Peshawar along with his family, including women, for treatment when the incident took place.

The kids were between eight to 12 years old, and are stated to be Saad’s nephews.

Fortunately, the women remained unhurt in the attack.
