As the clock is ticking and the mother of all matches, Pak versus India, is only a few hours away, bettors, too, have swung into action and billed India as favorites for today’s encounter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Billions of dollars are expected to be wagered today.

Both teams have played against each other seven times in the T-20 World Cup; India have won six while Pakistan have managed to win just one match.

According to the bettors, there is 71 per cent chance of India’s win in today’s game, while team Pakistan’s chance is only 29 per cent.

The bettors have fixed the rate of the Indian team at 1.42 while that of Pakistan at 3.07.

They say that Pakistan is already under pressure following an unexpected loss to the USA in their first match of the event.

While the Indian team, on the contrary, is in high spirits after emerging triumphant in its opening match, the bettors say.

They claim that if India win the toss in today’s match, they will put Pakistan into bat first.

And if Pakistan manages to score 180 runs, it will prove challenging for the side batting second.

Bettors further say that there will be more Indian spectators in the ground than Pakistanis.

According to one of the bookmakers, betting starts as soon as the coin is thrown into the air for the toss, and the rates change in accordance with the changing situation.
