Popular Pakistani actress Sonya Hussayn lately appeared in a candid session during which the star claimed that she was offered a film opposite celebrated Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi which she rejected for family values and restrictions.

During the engrossing session, held in the span of the show, Sonya was inquired regarding her personal life, likes and dislikes, experience in the showbiz industry, and more importantly the offers from Bollywood and Hollywood.

In response to the query, Sonya revealed the all with great honesty. Regarding film offers from Bollywood, the female star said: “I was offered several Bollywood films before things went sour between India and Pakistan. One of them was a Shakespearean adaptation, a remake of an old classic, and another film with Emraan Hashmi which I rejected after having a meeting even as my family was not too understanding of my work back then and I was also too young for it.”
