A sixth-class student committed suicide because his parents did not purchase him a smartphone in Larkana on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, the student was identified as 13-year-old Majid Kalhoro, a resident of Rizwan Colony in Larkana.

He hanged himself by wrapping a rope around his neck.

The child's dead body was shifted to the emergency ward of Chandka Hospital, Larkana.
