A three-year-old kid died after he was brutally beaten up by his father in Sabza Zar Colony of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.  

Sources in the police told 24News that Areeshma, who was hospitalized, at last succumbed to his injuries.

They further said that the father of the child was in police custody.

The sources informed that the body had been shifted to a mortuary for the post-mortem.

Hitherto, the police had said that the deceased’s father was mentally ill.
