Two women were shot dead in daring firing attack in Multan on Wednesday with the police describing the incident as a result of old enmity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The women were targeted by the gunmen in Qadir Pooran area of the Multan city and both breathed their last on the spot.

The police rushed to the crime scene and shifted the bodies to a hospital for further medico-legal procedure.

The accused made their escape good after shooting the women.

The police said they have registered a case and started an investigation into the double murder.
