Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised the officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army for their successful operation against terrorists in areas of Tirah, Khyber, and Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the Prime Minister said the security forces personnel displayed bravery, eliminating nine terrorists, including some of the most dangerous and wanted individuals.

The Prime Minister expressed that the entire nation is proud of its army men for their actions against terrorists.

"The unwavering determination of Pakistan's defenders to establish peace in the country is commendable," the Prime Minister said.

He said the entire nation stands by the brave men of the Pakistan Army in their efforts to rid the country of the scourge of terrorism.

It is worthy to mention that yesterday, the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) confirmed that the Pakistani security forces killed nine terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The military media wing said the troops killed seven terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Tirah area of the Khyber district.

A huge cache of explosive materials, arms and ammunition was also recovered during the operation in Tirah, the ISRP said.

It added two terrorists were killed in another such an operation in Lakki Marwat area of the province.

The hunt for terrorists is on as the forces are determined to uproot terrorism.
