Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar Thursday emphasized the enduring and apolitical nature of Pakistan-China relations.

He announced the arrival of a high-level Chinese delegation to Pakistan, which will participate in a joint consultative meeting co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and a Chinese minister.

Tarar highlighted the significance of the Pakistan-China friendship, stating it is "everlasting and beyond politics."

He noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's recent foreign visits, particularly to China, have been highly successful according to experts. During these visits, discussions focused on enhancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.

"Pakistan-China friendship is eternal and sustainable," Tarar remarked, adding that many external forces are uneasy about this strong bilateral relationship. He criticized unnecessary skepticism and stressed the importance of unity in supporting the friendship between the two nations.

The Information Minister also praised the Punjab government's efforts in maintaining security and cleanliness during the Eid-ul-Azha festival. He acknowledged the role of law enforcement agencies in ensuring peace and order and commended the dedication of all government institutions in managing the festival's arrangements.

Addressing domestic issues, Tarar touched on load shedding, attributing it to power theft and line losses in certain areas. He called for cooperative solutions between the federation and the provinces to resolve such issues amicably.

"We want to go along with all the units," he said, underscoring the need for collaboration across all regions of Pakistan. He assured that the federation has always cooperated with the provinces and highlighted the importance of resolving electricity theft and bill payment issues together.

Tarar also addressed recent attacks and unrest, condemning those who jeopardized the country's interests and security. He emphasized that there can be no negotiation with individuals responsible for such actions.

In closing, the Federal Minister reiterated the positive outlook for Pakistan-China relations and dismissed any negative campaigns against this strategic partnership.
