Popular Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha's interesting wedding with long-term beau Zaheer Iqbal is grappling with various subjects, including a huge family drama, a bunch of speculations, and importantly religious concerns, which have lately been clarified by her soon-father-in-law Iqbal Ratansi in an interview where he made into the air: “It would be a union of hearts religions have nothing to play in.”

As Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will have an inter-faith marriage, people have been wondering if the actress will convert to Islam once she is hitched. Zaheer's father lately in an interview with the Free Press Journal, Ratansi stated that Sonakshi is not converting to Islam, and it's a union of hearts, and their different religions would play no part in the same. He blessed the couple and added that he believes in humanity. Ratansi can be quoted as saying: "She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever. I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi."

Regarding the question about the nature of wedding ceremony inquiring whether the duo would marry as per Hindu rituals or Islamic, Zaheer's father clearly asserted: "It will have neither Hindu nor Muslim rituals. It will be a civil marriage."
