An 18-year-old boy suffering from the Congo virus has died in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to sources the deceased was associated with the profession of herding.

Sources said that the Congo virus case was reported on May 14 from Parang area of Charsada while patient died on May 19 in Peshawar.

The Congo virus patient was undergoing treatment at Peshawar's Khyber Teaching Hospital.

Earlier, two patients from Attock suffering from the Congo virus died during treatment as blood samples from deceased patients were reported as positive.

The deceased named Shahzeb belonged to Tehsil Fateh Jang and Khair Khanum belonged to Tehsil Jund.
