The security forces killed a terrorist commander in an intelligence-based operation in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the ISPR said on Wednesday.

It added an intense exchange of fire took place, leaving terrorist commander Irfanullah – alias Adnan – dead.

The dead remained involved in heinous crimes like extortion, target-killing, and attacks on security forces.

The locals lauded the troops for standing firm in anti-terrorism combat.
