Court in Islamabad acquits Imran Khan, others in PTI’s Azadi March cases

A court in Islamabad on Monday acquitted former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan, PTI stalwarts Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ali Muhammad Khan and Murad Saeed in cases of violation of section 144 and vandalism during the party’s Azadi march, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Former PTI leader Asad Umar was also given a clean chit in the case.

Judicial Magistrate Ihtesham Alam pronounced the verdict on the petitions filed by PTI leaders.

Ali Muhammad Khan along with lawyers Naeem Panjutha, Sardar Masroof Advocate and Amina Ali Advocate appeared in the court. Asad Umar also showed up.

Cases had been registered against Imran Khan and other PTI leaders at Golra Police Station of Islamabad.
