A man in a suburban village of Arifwala killed his wife after she demanded divorce from him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Police said that the man shot his wife Najma dead in village 27 EB.

Najma had filed a petition in the court, seeking divorce from her husband, police said, and added they had taken the woman’s into their possession and launched a manhunt.

Youth shot dead in Renala Khurd for property

A youth was shot dead in 21 AL, a suburban village of Shergarh near Renala Khurd, over a dispute over a piece of land.

Police said the deceased had been identified as Haider.

The assassins managed to flee from the spot after committing the crime, they added.
