England beat Pakistan by seven wickets in the last T20 against England at The Oval in London on Thursday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Pakistan posted 158 runs target as England captain Jos Butler won the toss and elected to field first. England finished their chase with 27 balls to spare.

Chasing a score of 158, England started strong with Salt (45) and Buttler (39) before Bairstow (28 not out) and Jacks (20) also chipped in.Brook (17 not out) hit a six to seal the game, which had a brief rain delay during the first innings.

The win at The Oval was England’s second of the four-game series, having also won the second game at Edgbaston by 23 wins.

The first and the third matches were abandoned due to rain.

Buttler said there is "a little bit of green grass, a little bit of weather around" and his side are looking to chase.Babar Azam said he would have bowled, too.

Mark Wood replaced Recce Topley in England’s playing XI.

Although openers skipper Babar Azam and Rizwan gave a good start, the middle order collapsed and the innings ended at 19.5 overs.

Pakistan replaced opener Saim Ayub with Usman Khan while Imad Wasim was rested due to medical reasons paving the way for Naseem Shah’s return.

Two changes for the tourists, Usman Khan and Naseem Shah in for Saim Ayub and Imad Wasim

Imad has been advised to take rest and will not participate in the fourth T20I against England.

While batting in the nets during Wednesday's training session, he experienced discomfort in his right rib cage. He was sent for a preventative scan as advised by the PCB medical panel.

Keeping the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in mind Imad will take ample rest and is expected to be fit before the start of Pakistan's campaign.

The panel is actively monitoring Imad's progress and will provide further updates if deemed necessary.
