A massive fire broke out in the forests of Kalachita Mountains in Attock last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to rescue sources, the rising flames of the fire began to be seen from a distance.

However, there is fear of loss of wild animals due to fire and burning of valuable timber trees worth millions of rupees.

Rescue crews are busy extinguishing the fire but facing difficulties due to lack of access.

The report of the causes of the fires that occur in these forests every year has not come out till date.

Kalachita Hills in these forests, shesham and other valuable trees and rare species of birds are feared to be lost.

Despite the loss of billions of rupees, there is no provision for the future.
