Diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Saint Vincent and Grenadines established

Pakistan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have formally established diplomatic relations, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the channel, the permanent missions of Pakistan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations (UN) held a ceremony in New York to mark the occasion.
Pakistan was represented by its Permanent Representative to the UN Munir Akram who signed the joint declaration. The event was hosted by the permanent missions of both countries at the UN.
Munir Akram warmly welcomed Inga Rhonda King, the Permanent Representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations, at the Pakistan Mission.
Both representatives signed a joint declaration formalizing the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In his address, Munir Akram highlighted the long-standing close and cooperative relations between Pakistan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the UN.
He expressed that the formal establishment of diplomatic relations would further deepen these ties. He anticipated more profound connections between tourists, business delegations, and the people of both countries.
Munir Akram praised Ambassador Inga Rhonda King for her strong advocacy on various United Nations forums, especially as part of ECOSOC, referring to her as an ally.
Ambassador Inga Rhonda King of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines expressed her warm sentiments and said it was a special day for her country to formally establish diplomatic relations with Pakistan. She emphasized that the beauty of the United Nations system lies in its ability to bring people and countries, regardless of their size, together for a shared vision of building a better world.
She affirmed that the establishment of diplomatic relations would further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Usman Jadoon, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan, and officers from the Pakistan Mission.
