Qatar Ambassador Ali Bin Mubarak Ali Essa Al Khater called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to discuss matters of mutual interest, focusing on potential investment opportunities and the provision of a labour force in Punjab.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, in the meeting, a principled decision was taken by CM Maryam Nawaz and Qatar Ambassador Ali Bin Mubarak to promote economic relations between Punjab and Qatar.

They also deliberated on infrastructure development and cooperation in various sectors within Punjab in the meeting.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz highlighted the Punjab government's business-friendly policies and extended an invitation to Qatari businessmen and industrialists to invest in the region.

Ambassador Al-Khater praised the skilled workforce of Pakistan and expressed interest in increasing the recruitment of skilled labour from Punjab. Both emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations.
