The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recorded the statements of PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan and Barrister Gohar regarding a controversial tweet posted from the party founder Imran Khan's Twitter account.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the FIA Cyber Crime Wing interrogated Rauf Hassan for four hours and Barrister Gohar for two hours. During the investigation, the team presented both leaders with a questionnaire consisting of 21 questions.
The questionnaire included inquiries such as who operates the PTI founder's Twitter account in his absence, who authorizes content uploads in his absence, who authorized the controversial tweet, and why the controversial tweet has not yet been deleted from his account.
After submitting their respective answers to the questionnaire, both leaders also recorded separate statements to the FIA.
The channel said the investigation team will review the statements and may summon the leaders again for further questioning. Both Rauf Hassan and Barrister Gohar assured the FIA of their cooperation and willingness to appear again if needed.
