A young man climbed a mobile phone tower in Narowal after exhausting all options to tie the knot with his sweetheart, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The man who was not identified was apparently not left with any other choice but to climbed up the pole, demanding to marry the love of his life.

The young man threatened to commit suicide by jumping off the pole if he was not allowed to marry by his choice.

However, after four hours of persuasion the police were able to bring him down through a negotiator who promised that his demand will be taken care of.

But soon after bringing him down the police took him straight to the lock-up instead of his would-be in-laws.
